Ava Pearson is a recently admitted lawyer at Sparke Helmore Lawyers working in the insurance practice and aviation. As a former student pilot herself, her enthusiasm for aviation is sky high.
Ava’s interest in international law following her participation as an Australian representative in the international rounds of the Philip C. Jessup Moot has exposed her to complex international law questions which have been posed amid the rapidly growing space industry.
Ava’s Geoff Masel submission is on the legality of cyber attacks on a State’s satellites under articles III and IV of the Outer Space Treaty, a modification of her honours paper from university.
